What better way to spend the weekend than heading down to the Southern Highlands!
Full of charm, nature, and many antique stores, we started the day by heading to the Mittagong Garden Centre. The garden centre is one of the best centres in the Southern Highlands, with one of the best collections of Camellia we've seen. From here we headed to Dirty Janes Bowral to explore and get lost between the antiques.
After working up an appetite, we stopped off at Robertson Public House, a trendy pub in the heart of Robertson town, known by the locals as "Robbo Pub". The atmosphere of the pub oozes rustic charm. The menu contains a vast selection of drink choices, with a wine list full of local and national varieties. The rotating food menu contains all the pub staples - as well as some mouth watering specials
Heading across the road, for a coffee, we stumbled into The SHAC Robertson an artist collective with studio and gallery spaces all opened to meander through. The SHAC is a must visit if you're in the area, the space is open Friday - Monday 10-4.
After grabbing a coffee at the adjacent cafe, Petite Fleur Patisserie we headed towards Belmore Falls, along Belmore Falls Rd - a windy narrow dirt road. Arriving at the lookout car park, we started the walk at Hindmarsh Lookout, overlooking the stunning Kangaroo Valley.
Following the walking track for a few hundred more metres, we caught our first glimpse of the Belmore Falls.
Robertson is located in the Southern Highlands region of N.S.W around 30 minutes east of Bowral.
